Pikes Peak Cardiology is the largest adult cardiology practice in Colorado Springs and southern Colorado. Pikes Peak Cardiology was a $5.8 M, 49,000 sf. facility which includes a 64 slice Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scan imaging, a cardiac catheterization lab, coumadin anti-coagulation management program, and a diagnostic lab that provides state of the art equipment for echocardiography, peripheral and vascular ultrasound, nuclear imaging, holter monitors, Tilt Table Testing and Trans-esophageal Echocardiography (TEE). It is one of the few diagnostic labs nationally to receive certification from the Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation in Echocardiology, Vacular and Nucear Laboratories.  Known as the most innovative cardiology facility in southern Colorado, it is the first to have a cardiac implant device program, complete with internet technology (Paceart) to enable physicians to monitor patients with implantable cardiac devices from off-site.
